Aloha,   Pax should yank on the oxygen hose to start the flow of
oxygen as stated on the safety cards.  Bayonet pins are attached to
the hoses by lanyards.  A firm yank on the hose will insure that the
pin is removed from the supply valve to start the flow.  It is not
unusual for pax to don masks and not start the flow of oxygen.
