For Pratt and Rolls to make an engine that has all that power it would be
too expensive for them considering the relatively small amount of these
planes that may be sold (in comparison to the current 777 that has sold like
crazy).  The GE has already been run at 125,000lbs of thrust in its current
configuration.  It is a "bigger" engine.  Designed for the future of the
777.
