Well, to be exact, if ypou are a passenger, you breath a mixture of O2
and cabin air. The mixing ratio is controlled through two valves in the
mask, one for oxygen, another for the air.

If you are a crew member, you may control the mixture ratio and the
other conditions of what you are breathing.
