For the 757,  Vx is given as "best angle" on the climb page of the FMC.  It
varies from about 205 to 240 depending on weight.   Vy is refered to as best
rate in our Aircraft Operating manual.  It  is 265 light, 275 med. wt., and 285
heavy.  all are KIAS.  Most major airline captains don't even know the
distinction between the abbreviations Vx and Vy.  I am not joking.  --Bill.
