Glideslope deviation is the vertical deviation from runway approach
path, transmitted/recieved via VOR radio signals, and Localizer is the
horizontal deviation from runway centerline. The deviations appear on
the HSI's (horizontal situation indicators (the compass, if you will))
and on aircraft equiped with HUD the deviations will appear in the
form of flight director command bars (pitch up/down, roll left/right)
