In the Under-Wing pods of course !   Doh !

(I mean, you wouldn't need them for engines, so would mean that you could
have interchangeable passenger and freight pods.)

Seriously, wasn't there a Rich International L1011 that took off with only
one engine ?  From Alaska, I think.
