The body of an unidentified middle-aged man was found in the
gear bay of a B767 after it had arrived at Gatwick from Baku
in Azerbaijan (5 1/2 hour flight), on the night of
Saturday 7th Feb. The aircraft was parked in a hangar overnight,
and the body was discovered by BA staff during routine
maintenance checks on Sunday morning.

It was not explicitly stated in the reports, but it appears
that the stowaway was in the nose gear bay. (The compartment
was described as being 4ft high, 6ft wide and 12ft long, when
not occupied by the gear.)
