I dont know about Boeing wings, but in the May edition of last years
Lufthansa in flight mag there was an article about Airbus wing flex limits.
You might try the AI home page for further information, but I seem to
remember the maximum design flex for Airbuses was quite suprising....much
more than 6 feet as I recall
