I am perfectly aware of this. But a recent discussion made we wonder how
aircraft decide what the cabin pressure should be relative to altitude.
(eg: would cabin pressure of a 747 CRUISING at 9000ft, another at 30k
feet and
another at 40k feet be all set to the "8000 ft" ?)
