Not directly, but remember the Air Inter crash on mont Saint Odile : The
pilots change their landing runway due to traffic, and so chose a VOR-DME
approach instead of a ILS one. It was in bad weather, icing, night
conditions. As the accident report says, they should have choose the wrong
mode in their Flight Management System, and so performed a too rapid
descent, and crash the plane.
