Well I don't know what the situation is in the US, but in Europe you can
reserve a certain number configuration for a given product. Just as
example when Porsche came out with the 911 it was called 901. They were
forced by Peugeot to change the name from 901 to 911 since Peugeot had
reserved for their cars the numbers with a 0 in the middle (205, 605
...).
