According to Airliners magazine (Vol 1 No 1), the first transatlantic
Sterling Caravelle service was in 1970 and routed CPH-KEF-YQX-OMA-SFO !
Don't know how long the service lasted but I doubt many customers came
back for a second trip after such an itinerary.
