>Does AA have the 747 in their fleet today?

No. American bought 16 747-123s which were delivered starting in
1970; they were all gone by about 1984. Then, in 1987, American
bought two 747SP-31s from TWA for their then-new DFW-NRT route.
These two planes flew for American until 1993.

In the early 1990s, American also had a $330 million deal with
Canadian to take two of their early-delivery 747-400s, contingent
upon American obtaining ORD-NRT authority. United beat American
for that award and so American never obtained any 747-400s.
