>The 757-300 was launched with a single $875 million order for 12 plus >12 options by Condor Flugdienst ... No word on engine choice but >with the exception of one leased oddball, Condor's 757-200s have >PW2040s ... so PW seems likely. Looks like I guessed wrong -- AW&ST (Sep 9, 1996, p. 25) says Condor picked the RB.211-535E4B for their 757-300 order. This is the second 757 operator I know of to switch from the PW2000 to Rolls-Royce (UPS is the other). Any others? Have any carriers switched from RR on earlier orders to PW on later ones? -- Karl Swartz |Home kls@chicago.com |Work kls@netapp.com |WWW http://www.chicago.com/~kls/ Moderator of sci.aeronautics.airliners -- Unix/network work pays the bills
