The autopilot does not have the authority to deploy speedbrakes for
descent. If the flight managment system is being used, it will display
the message "Drag Required" if speedbrakes need to be deployed to maintain
the descent path input by the flightcrew. The speedbrakes have to be
deployed manually. (Note: The 757 is a very "clean" airplane and the use
of speedbrakes would normally be necessary in any kind of expedited
descent.)
