The "Start-up procedures" (how to steal an airliner) thread got me thinking about the issue of "power-back" (pushing an airliner back from a gate withOUT a ground tug vehicle). Someone commented that on anything other than a (small plane, such as 737/DC-9), you'd probably need a tug to push the plane back.
