Does McDonnell Douglas actually use an extended digit in their series
number to designate certain performance properties as they did with
the DC-9s (e.g., DC-9-15, DC-9-31, DC-9-32) and -8s (e.g., DC-8-51, 
DC-8-54, etc.)?  That is, under the 30 series would there be a 31 
(DC-10-31) or a 32 (DC-10-32)?
