Stupid question: What don't they "simply" fit a rearward-looking camera on
these aircraft? Modern CCD cameras are compact and light, and recent
cockpit designs are already using CRT's. Seems to me that looking at it is
a good method to asses the presence of an engine... Or a fire, whatever.
