>From what I gathered from the press, the problem was stated to be the Turbine Blades as said by the above. However what was not mentioned above, was that the problem was caused by the refurbished blades not being able to cope with the extra stresses that arise with the Hush-Kits units. It was then decided to change Air NZ policy to use only new Turbine Blades on the 737-200's Engines. This again is picked up from the local New Zealand Press. The 737's with Hush Kits, while better, are far from quiet!!!!
