Perhaps you've not seen the B2, which has plenty of curved surfaces.
The flat surfaces of the F117A are not a prerequisite for a low radar
cross-section.  When that aircraft was designed, Lockheed was simply
not able to perform the necessary analysis for a more complex shape.
Thanks largely to faster computers, a more complex analysis was poss-
ible by the time the B2 was being designed, much to the relief of the
aerodynamicists, I'm sure.
