Actually, AA is still kicking itself for not bidding for PA's pacific  
routes, and has been very aggressive at trying to obtain additional  
routes (as in the case of the competitions for the ORD-TKO route).   
Its not so much a matter of interest as of restictions in the  
bilateral air agreements limiting further growth.
